Hey, it's Superman!

Remember the American hunk who came over early this year to be a part of a concert by Lance Raymundo that time had? We had featured him twice in this column already.

First, when he appeared in his initial TV shows with ABS-CBN and in some print ads and billboards.

Then, last May when he was the only foreigner in the Grand Santacruzan held at Intramuros by an exclusive fashion designers group.

After almost half-a-year in the country, Travis Kraft has blended well with new friends and undertakings in this country.

Whenever a foreigner walks on the street, people down here would usually greet him with the usual, "Hello, Joe."

But for Travis, itās different. They usually greet him with, "Hey, it's Superman!"

He admits hearing this from security guards, children in the street, cashiers and some people who see him up close. Many consider him a Superman look-alike with his dark hair, imposing physique and piercing blue eyes.

Even TV host Ryan Agoncillo complimented him with, "Superman speaks Filipino when he was a guest and was awarded to Y Idol award on Y Speak on Studio 23 recently.

The American hunk that he is, Travis has been around here with his various print ads and billboards. After seeing him on the Rexona ad, the biggest billboard in Asia, he is currently on Jockey Graffitee shirts billboards in Magallanes, as well as posters and flyers.`

Though new in the local scene, he has been a sought after model for a series of fashion shows, photo shoots for Goldās gym (that helps him keep his beautifully chiseled body) and some brands for diving suits, muscle pain relieving gel and more.

The 6"1" actor-model is the featured hunk for the month of August in Cosmopolitan magazine. Moreover, fans were glad to see him acting lately. He played a pivotal role in Maalaala Mo Kaya in a July episode with Eugene Domingo and Gina Pare.

He proved that he is becoming a Filipino at heart when he portrayed Eula Valdezā husband in last Saturdayās (August 5) Nagmamahal Kapamilya on ABC-CBN. For more photos and news on Travis, check out his website:www.traviskraft.com.

However it seems that Travis Kraft's days here are numbered. He plans to go back to Hollywood soon. But for the meantime, he is busy and enjoying his stay here.
